I wanted to delve a bit into liquid effects and blood magic. Started playing around with shaders and ideas just started rushing in, and eventually evolved into this Blood Catapult! Hope you like it!

FX created in UE4's Cascade. I used Houdini to create the main blood splash and baked it to extract Ambient Occlusion and Alpha Maps. The rest of the textures are hand-painted. Tentacle modeled in 3DsMax and animated in Maya.
